01The Service

Rest Coach is an AI-powered sleep-coaching app available on iOS and Android. It provides conversational voice coaching, sleep and health analytics, reminders, and related features. The Service is for general wellness and informational purposes only.

02Not Medical Advice

Rest Coach is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Its coaching, summaries, scores, and AI-generated content are for informational and wellness purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your sleep, health, or any medical condition, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of something in the app. If you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

03Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly allow their use.

04Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

05Subscriptions & Billing

• Rest Coach offers a free tier and optional paid subscriptions (monthly or annual), sold and processed through the Apple App Store and Google Play using their in-app billing. We do not receive or store your payment-card details.
• New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription at the price shown in-app and your store account is charged. You can cancel anytime during the trial in your App Store or Google Play settings to avoid a charge.
• Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Prices are shown in-app for your region and may change with notice. Refunds are handled according to the refund policy of the store where you purchased — Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Free-tier usage may be subject to reasonable limits — such as a daily coaching allowance — to manage costs and abuse.

06AI-Generated Content

The Service uses third-party AI (Google Gemini) to power voice coaching, summaries, and your coaching memory. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Use judgment, and do not rely on AI output as professional, medical, legal, or other expert advice.

07Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse, overwhelm, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or resell the Service
• Use the Service to harass or harm others, or to generate unlawful content
• Circumvent usage limits, security, or billing

08Your Data

You retain rights to your data. You grant us a limited license to process your data to operate and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy (including transmitting it to service providers such as Google for AI processing). You can export or delete your data in-app (Settings → Account).

09Intellectual Property

The Service — including its software, design, and content (excluding your data) — is owned by Rest Coach or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose.

10Third-Party Services

The Service integrates third parties. Your use of those integrations is also governed by their terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

11Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result (including sleep improvement) will be achieved.

12Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rest Coach will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.

13Termination & Governing Law

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

14Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
